This weekend I participated in remixing a video.
I’d never done anything like this before, and I’ve only ever tried one remix (the Britney Spears one which can be found on my soundcloud page).
I made a rough version of the song after spending about 8 hours on Saturday staring at my monitors and sent it over to Alex Jones (among other things, cameraman and editor of Art Battle recap vids) to begin work on the editing. Everything was finalized on Sunday and uploaded late that night.
The results are pretty awesome:

I can’t wait to try something like this again!
I’ll be taking a little break from DJing at Art Battle to pursue other things, but I’ll be back there when my schedule permits.
Right now I’m working at writing again, planning to release a full-length CD/MP3 album next year.
